We are bringing
equitable behavioral healthcare to our community.
Encompass Community Services is the largest provider of health and human services in Santa Cruz County. We have been delivering culturally appropriate and evidence-based safety net services to our community for nearly 50 years. We provide person-centered behavioral healthcare services to more than 2,300 adults each year, including residential and outpatient substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, counseling and educational services, as well as outpatient mental health counseling in North and South Santa Cruz County.
We have done the work to integrate services for co-occurring disorders so we can provide the comprehensive, individualized treatment and supports our community members deserve.
Get to know our Programs
Our new Sí Se Puede Behavioral Health Center will bring together our current Sí Se Puede residential substance use disorder (SUD) treatment program and our South County-based outpatient SUD and mental health counseling services on one inviting campus -- all of which are Licensed by the State Department of Health Care Services. Offering connected programs and facilities on one campus will allow us to more effectively meet clients where they are and provide the custom treatment, counseling and ongoing support they need and deserve over time.
We prioritize culturally aware programming that integrates evidence-based practices with the values of the communities we serve.
Sí Se PUede Residential Treatment PRogram
Our substance use disorder treatment program was developed and is led by Latino males with lived experience and has been serving our community for more than 30 years.
Our program model is exceptional, but the spaces do not reflect the quality of care we provide. The current facility is a 1940s-era remodeled family home that is at capacity and does not provide the appropriate spaces for the level of care clients need and deserve.

Current Sí Se Puede residential facility located at 161 Miles Lane, Watsonville, CA
Due to current space limitations, clients meet outdoors under a canopy for group counseling sessions.
Kitchen facilities are adequate, but dated.
